GENERAL CONTRACTING

General contracting plays a pivotal role in bringing a project to life. We will manage the project’s construction, ensuring the client and design team’s vision become a reality. Our responsibilities include hiring and overseeing subcontractors (eg. Electricians, Plumbers, and Carpenters etc.), obtaining permits, and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
JMS Projects & Design acts as the main point of contact between the client, design team, and various trades. By coordinating the work of subcontractors and managing the construction schedule, we help maintain the project's momentum and address any challenges that may arise during the construction process. Importantly, we also manage the project's budget, making adjustments as needed to accommodate any changes in the project scope.
We are on our client’s team and are here to execute the design plan efficiently, on time, and within budget, ensuring a high-quality outcome.
FULL-SERVICE DESIGN & BUILD

We make indoor spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting essential and decorative items, such as paint colours, lighting, and materials.

• Determine goals & requirements for the project
• Consider how the space will be used and how people will move through the space
• Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical & partition layouts
• Specify materials & furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring & plumbing fixtures
• Create a project timeline & estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials & oversee the installation of the design elements
• Oversee construction & coordinate with our General Contractor to implement the plans & specifications for the project
• Visit the site after the project is complete to ensure the client is satisfied

One of the many aspects that sets us apart from other companies in our industry is our skilled and high quality millwork and custom detailing.
With over 20 years of experience in Joinery and Cabinet Making, our millwork is exclusive to our clients and built to last.
Our workshop is located in Langley, B.C where we use state of the art machinery and quality materials.
